Sky Box from Ebay, viewing card possible?

    At the moment i don't have a sky subscription and never had before, I'm wondering if i pick up a sky box off ebay, can i get a viewing card somewhere that will let me add my eir sports pack and the free to air channels?

    Sky Q box
    No sky ask you to give that box back and want to know who the seller is , its their property and for I know a sky Q box wont work without a card at all
    Older boxes yes sky have them for you

    Buy a standard Sky+ HD box from Adverts.ie
    Place a WANTED advert for a box with a deactivated ROI card.

    Also .....
    Eir used to send out sky cards - give them a call.

    Just tried them there, no joy... they wanted me to get eir tv :rolleyes:
