    Hi all
I'm looking to buy a used automatic car soon.
Looking for a small enough automatic, possibly a hybrid.
Thinking possibly Honda Insight or Toyota Yaris
    No bigger than 1.4
    Roughly E9000
Have the cash ready to go

I've been looking on carzone, carsireland and I can't find many reviews for the dealers.
I know Airside Motor Centre in Swords, but unsure of any more.
Choice Cars in Lusk, Automatic Car Centre in Rush, Easy Autos in Santry all have a good selection of cars that match my requests.

Are there any auto dealers in Dublin or the Leinster area that would definitely be worth a visit?

    Thanks :)

I have never heard of a dealer who specialises in autos

Thank you for that thoroughly insightful reply.

😂 I am sorry. It was meant well.

I'm trying to say that I don't think any dealers specialise in autos. However I am not an expert and am open to correction.

    Try Des Darcy in Swords.

I bought a car there and was very happy.

With that cash go to the uk and get a Yaris hybrid, afaik they come with a 5 year warranty, so should have a few years still on that.

Thank you for that thoroughly insightful reply.

The reason he hasn’t heard of them is because there are next to none that do.

Find the car then worry about the dealer.

Automatic cars are a small minority in this country ( unfortunately) and even more so for small cars

There is also a view out there that automatic and small car doesn't go well together, personally I would not go smaller than 1.6 in a petrol

OP, if it’s a Hybrid you are after it doesn’t matter where you go as the vast majority of hybrids are automatics anyway.

Plenty coming into the market now!

Still a small minority, as a nation, we have a serious aversion to them relative to most markets

Well any Toyota hybrid is going to be at least a 1.5, but you're not going to be paying tax based on engine size so why does it matter? It's not directly proportional to fuel consumption, especially not with hybrids.

I think around 95% of new cars sold in Japan are automatics now, so it goes hand in hand.
