When to plough

I intend to plough a few fields this year. Ground is heavy enough but some of it light on hill.
Silage cut 2 weeks ago so fields well greened and ready to spray off.
Would you spray now or leave it a month and have it ready for 1st September?

I'd drive on esp if heavy land. Autumn could come soft and you could end up getting caught trying to graze or spray.

I was thinking the same myself but brother had the other opinion. Looking dry tomorrow and then damp for the next week so might spray tomorrow and then it would be ready if it dried up after that.
