that should have been a DQ win for dib that.
areza was in ring before it was waved off....regardless of towel, if letter of law is to be followed, khan gets diaqualified

Good first round between Joyce and Jennings.
Jennings definitely hurt Joyce to the body.
    Plenty landed by both. Entertaining.

Think Joyce has f*cked a rib or something from that body shot.

Yep he's keeping his arm quite low now to protect it it looks like. Seems to have faster hands than I've seen from him before, not that that's saying much.

I think Jennings is struggling a bit with the pace. He has his moments but spends a lot of time covering up waiting for Joyce to stop punching.

    Joyce's output is just unreal.

This is razor close imo. BT gone full Sky propaganda mode tonight.

As I expected Joyce was just too big, strong and busy for Jennings. That said he was caught so may times that you have to think a puncher kos him when he steps up again.

Fair decision. Joyce simply outworked him.

Only one round gone, but this looks really, really interesting.

Dubois jab is the key to the whole fight. Gorman having huge problems with it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 972 ✭✭✭Deiseboy01

Gorman needs to get his own jab going. He's allowing Dubois to walk him down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,430 ✭✭✭megadodge

I don't think Dubois is getting ko'd, he's much more physical and doesn't seem to be remotely bothered by anything coming his way.

Impressive by Dubois so far tbf.

Quality performance by Dubois. I wasn’t much of a fan or believer of him but that was good stuff. Crazy that he’s only 21.

I'm looking forward to gis next fight already.

I wonder if Joyce might be an option? I'd say Joyce will avoid him.

    Very impressive from Dubois.
Superb jab, which has been obvious since he turned pro, but it's a thing of beauty.
Dubois really goes for it, but is so controlled.
And I think he can really take a punch too.

Gorman looked panicked from the start. Afraid to Jab for fear of leaving his guard down. Dubios looks great but Gorman looked very amateurish also.

Joe Joyce is waiting to be knocked out.
