I'm about to pull the trigger (or at least select a target) on changing car. My mainly city driving means diesel simply wrong for me - EV in a few years - so it's a petrol Golf 1.4 (pref DSG), Focus Ecoboost or Civic. 2014/2015 and that size. Auris-wise what min year would I need to look at in terms of "latest" model ?. I know they're replaced now but perhaps hybrid the best non-EV option at the moment ?.

    Thanks,
    K

The last model Auris ran from 2013 to the end of 2018 with a few sold in early 2019 before being replaced by the Corolla hatchback.

From those I’d have the Golf by a mile.
