Hi, I'm selling my house at the moment and the buyers surveyor has said that a cert will be required for a bathroom wall which was moved a few years ago. I didn't get one at the time and to be honest I'm not sure if I need one now.....its a partition wall from the bathroom into a bedroom. I was there the day it was moved, it's a wooden frame the builder basically cut from the ceiling and wall with a Stanley blade and pushed out about a metre and screwed it back to the wall and ceiling in it's new position. I'm not familiar much with construction but surely this cant be a load bearing wall, is it? And if its not load bearing is a cert needed?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    That’s the cert that’s required.
An engineers opinion that the wall is not load bearing and it’s alteration has no impact on the structure.
