No claims bonus for driver added to policy during the term

Added another driver to my policy today. Had renewed with start date of last week previously. Will the new driver get a year's no claims at the end of the term? I know some are a bit fussy about a "full year" to count as 1

Added driver will only get what's called "Named Driver Experience" which is worth 75% of No Claims Bonus should s/he ever took a policy in his/her name.

So after a year as added driver the person will have 1 yr NDE
