Thanks for the offer but I am holding out for closer to asking. If you met me half way @ 90 I would consider it. Unfortunately I am not driving currently so collection would be only option for me. Either Cork next week or Limerick the weekend or this Friday. Cheers.

Ehhh, do I not get first refusal having been the first to make an offer?

    No worries if not...

First to offer asking wins the carrot I think innit?

Mind you an offer of 80€ collected is pretty damn close to (& arguably better than) €90 posted!

You did not offer asking. Or come back to me with an answer when I lowered the price to meet you half way.

It wasn’t being collected though at least not in Limerick.

As I said, no worries but I did get back to you as soon as I could.

eeimcaw sat back and jumped in having shown no interest up to that, and my experience over a number of years here is that if there is a reasonable offer made, (which mine was considering the postage) then that poster should get first refusal.

Best of luck with sale and have a good weekend in the sunshine!

My apologies. I misread your offer and wrongly thought for some reason you offered to meet me half way between Cork and Dublin which as I am not driving would not be possible. So I made a counteroffer which took account of postage. Looks like I messed up there.

Eeimcaw - are you still taking the helmet ? PMd 3 hours ago.

    Thanks

Listen, don’t worry about it at all...

If eeimcaw doesn’t take you up on the offer, I’ll take it off you for €90 posted.

No rush or hassle at all.

    Keep well.

    C.

Unfortunately not. Discovered damage to inside of shell as about to pack it up. Retuned it. Forgot to update ad.

Mods, can you please close this thread. Thanks.
