Attic conversion

    Hi,

Am planning an attic conversion - usable space is small so it will only be for storage and possible use by the kids as another space for them to own. Given this I want it to include include a proper stairs for access - I believe this can be installed over the existing stairs as we have previously extended (2 stories) to the side so what was the old external hipped roof wall is now an internal wall (if that makes sense).

The challenge now is finding contractors to quote for the works - I'd like to avoid weeks of consultations but I know I can't ask for recommendations on the thread so was hoping it was okay to get guidance in this regard via dm?

If this isn't okay I apologize in advance.

    Thanks

Maybe post where you are based.

Also, have a look at this document with regards to 3 storey houses.
