Nissan Leaf key fob programming

Hi, I lost the fob/key to my 1.5 Gen 2013 Leaf. I'm using my spare set now. Dealer quoted me €250 to replace. Somebody mentioned to me that a key fob can be purchased online for a fraction of the cost and programmed. Has anyone attempted this? Would love to try this but I'm wary of potential issues which may crop up if I do it myself. Should I just go the dealer route?

Bough a fob for a 2015 from ebay and the dealer programmed it no problem. Make sure you'll get one for a LEAF as other fobs don't have the charge port button.

Thanks. What is the charge port button? I have three buttons on the fob - lock, unlock and alarm. The fob I am thinking of ordering is this one.

It would be great if it could be programmed. It would be a spare so will hopefully never need to be used.

Sorry for a late response. The fobs on both 2015 and 2018 have the charge port button and are specific to a LEAF. They are the same part for both the old and the new model. In the past I ordered one from ebay.
