Fixing a fencepost to concrete path

I am putting a small fence at right angles at the side of my house and a gate where the concrete path goes around the house, the path being about 1 metre wide.

I don't want to fix the hinges of the gate to the house so I would like to put a 100 X 100 fencepost on the house side. I have seen steel fence supports but was unsure on what fixings to use to bolt them down into the path.

I could also put the hinges on the outer side onto the post at the edge of the path which is concreted in place and have the gate closing on the house side and would then be less pressure on the base bracket
