WiFi booster questions

    Looking to know a little more about WiFi boosters.


    I've the modem in the sitting room.. and the signal basically drops off completely in the extension ( connected to house )

    If I add a booster where should I add it. ?
    The kitchen is between the sitting room and extension.

    Should I add a wifiless booster to the kitchen?.. but how would it help if it's still wireless from the source ?

    I can't hardwire to the kitchen.

    Any help would be great.
