Chassis of lorries are never great when converted, they're set up to be supported on four corners, not a drawbar in the middle at the front,
I've seen two cattle trailers on lorry chassis twist, artic trailers seem to have better chassis.
Any way I'm sure they're legal if the brakes and lights a are working right

It is legal for a gross trailer weight of 5 tonnes without being plated.

If it is well made it may be possible to get it inspected and plated for a price.

I know nothing about this company, there are others advertising similar service also.

Are you not currently exempted from those plating requirements if you have something pulling it that has a top speed of lower than 40kph?

No, if 40Kph weight limit without is reduced to 3.5 tonnes.

Legally it can't unless you get it certified to say it can, which is the answer to your original question.

ok in Ireland if tractor is capable of doing 40k or over then you need trailer plated no matter on what size of trailer so if you got a 30k tractor pulling your digger you dont need the low loader trailer plated,

    Ok, found this.
    https://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Your-Vehicle/Vehicle-Standards/Agricultural-Vehicles/

You should be ok unplated with a 30K tractor as long as the trailer/load is less than 3 times the unladen weight of tractor and it has good brakes.

in the UK everything has to be plated so if you were in the North picking up a digger and stopped by VOSA would you be ok
