Have made sushi before quite a bit, but not for a long time.

Any interesting fish apart from the usual tuna, salmon have people tried? Irish fish I'm talking about.
    Cheers.

We had nice eel sushi in a restaurant not so long ago, and they also had one with mackerel which was nice too.

    Mackerel......was thinking about it alright.
    Went down well then?

I suppose if the Japs were here they'd be using mostly local fish.

Flatfish can be good, I think I've used lemon sole and plaice.
    I'd second mackerel.
Scallop is really good too and one scallop would go a long way.

I love sushi with smoked eel and shrimp, but recently ate sushi with pink salmon.
