Just looking for recommendations for best product to put on dry cows for the summer to prevent mastitis and flies annoying them in general.

Which of the likes of Spot-On, Ectospec, Butox, Spotinor etc. would ye count the best for the job ?
    Tia

I find Butox to be best for flies, do them now and again in a Months time

Used Spot On last week on dry cows that were riddled with flys. Checked them the next day and not a fly to be seen near them. Think it works out to be around €1 an animal. Well worth it

This is what’s needed for flies. Lasts up to 6mts. Anything else is a waste of time and money.
I’m in a country where flies are a proper pestilence and these tags work a dream.

A lot of work to restrain and tag alot of animals with a button tag, I would think.

put flectron tags in cows, also used pour on and have garlic lick buckets with them too, still flies around them but very few, can't say which is most effective tho
