Why is everyone pro legalizing drugs but anti steroids?

The popular opinion online is that drugs should be legalized, taxed and regulated. Apparantly people will do drugs anyways so there's no point in trying to ban them.

But when I talk about steroids people say they should not be legal, how they are dangerous, cause roid rage etc.

I think this is another case of people supporting something when it directly affects them because they like to smoke weed and do coke.

Those people are not against steroids.

People should be allowed legally purchase steroids and learn how to take them under the supervision of doctors correctly.

Steroids shrink guys nuts. Girls dont want guys with small nuts and guys dont want small nuts either.
Plus it makes guys with small nuts look huge and better at sports. We cant have that.

Cannabis is less damaging than alcohol, that doesn't mean it's harmless, but given that alcohol is legal it stands to reason that Cannabis should be too. Cocaine should not be legalized, Heroin should not be legalized, Ecstasy/mdma should not be legalized, and Steroids definitely shouldn't be legalized, as they DESTROY people's bodies if not done properly in the right doses and over the right time period and in conjunction with other drugs, so many lads are getting giant shoulders for a few months then wrecking themselves hard because they're not cycling properly, it'd be like legalizing drink driving, sure everyone does it now and then we may as well right?

Which is why it should be legal so lads don't have to learn it off a website online, but instead can consult with doctors etc.

I think if you want to inject yourself with steroids, you should be allowed at your own risk. Cocaine and Heroin drag society down, but if it wasn't for that, I'd say the same.

If I'm remembering right the use of steroids actually is legal? but selling them isn't, it's one of those weird legal catch 22 things. In any case, the side effects I've personally withnessed, both physically and mentally, and the almost epidemic levels of young men dropping dead from "Sudden Adult Death Syndrome" (which should be renamed steroids and coke syndrome), leaves me with no doubt of how dangerous they are.

Not good I had a pal who was always trying to compensate for his otherwise diminutive stature by being muscular and ripped hadn’t seen him for years until he popped up in some newspaper a few years back dead from steroid abuse at 40. Just about recognised the face; lot of strain there he must have been lifting some crazy weights...

I take you realise steroids have a medical use not just to make you look good on the beach.

I worked in needle exchanges for years and we'd regularly have young lads come in looking for needles , swabs etc for steroid use.

It was sad and disturbing when after couple of minutes talking to them you realised they hadn't a notion about they were doing to themselves.

That is what they do in a lot of cases. But it still looks ridiculous. Also they must be forthcoming about what they use so it's fair.

Its kind of funny so many of them SWEAR they are natural and they are not fooling anyone.
