Hi folks, looking for some advice here, sold my LHD YR 2000 B544 Hymer recently & looking for a smaller low profile one around 6 meters long, have never bought from new, don't want to buy something that has a high depreciation rate, looking at the following brands, all seem entry level but far superior to my old Hymer, Sunlight, Benimar, PLA, the latter is new to me, Sunlight an offshoot of Dethleffs, from the outside they all look similar. Two companies in the Tipperary Limerick area were not prepared to drop one cent off the price of new campers advertised on Donedeal just under €69000...Dont think I want to go to Germany, UK could be an option, thanks...Charles

Parents in law were looking for low profile here a few years ago and there was very little on offer in Ireland they had no trouble finding a layout they loved in the UK. I know things are a bit better now but I wouldn't rule out the UK might not be much saving but greater choice. Biggest depreciation is probably going to be turning it from new to secondhand driving it off the lot so if you want to avoid depreciation don't rule out secondhand the mileages are usually tiny anyway.

Thanks for your reply, another option is northern Ireland, reviewing my options at the moment...;)

Yes, and thanks for your input, surprised there was so little advice forthcoming, was wondering if I said something wrong, went for a Chausson 530 in the end, got it from the main dealer in county Down....
