Last few codes I got were all from ebay. Search for vodafone unlock as some are advertised as such so they will be easier to find. Filter serach results from lowest to highest and obviously choose the lowest. Never had an issue choosing lowest. I paid about 2.50 euro for my last UK vodafone unlock. Took a few days for the code to be sent, about 5 at most.

Yes eBay is the best option.

Prices for a key can vary from cheap to expensive for different phone models.

And you need to check the network also and country

If it's a phone you got from your provider they are obliged to unlock it for free if it has been topped up by at least 130 euro.

that's true but they will deliberately make you wait an age to get it!

I rang eir last week for an unlock code for my P10, had just upgraded to a P30, they gave it me within 5 mins. If they have it they will give it to you.

Used to take a long long time. 3 weeks or more or they might promise you and then never get back

It depends on the phone I guess. I got it done for a Sony via Eir chat and it was done there and then. I am waiting 7+ working days now for an iPhone 6 via Vodafone now. And that's due to Apple response time.
