To much or too little detail? How are the photos? Am I reasonable on the price? Any hints, tips or advice received gratefully!:

The price seems rather low, if anything. Fifteen thousand seems the average. Too much information in the ad. Leave out the section after the words "steering wheel" completely. Include another photo of the interior showing rear seats taken from the drivers side.

Why are the photos in portrait? Even on my phone donedeal will resize portrait photos and make them look tiny, it's even worse on my PC.

    Thanks for having a look!

Would you leave in "The car just had a brake fluid service at a BMW main dealer and received a full BMW health check which is available for review upon request. The car has all import documentation with confirmed UK mileage and MOT records"?

I priced it at €13k to sell, there's a few about at that price (with higher mileage though), I'm also conscious of the price to import one of that year and mileage since it's an import itself. Do you think it's too low and people might think there's an issue with it or something?

They have my head wrecked a touch, I don't have access to a proper camera so I took them on my phone, I know what you're saying but I haven't a scoobie how to sort them short of taking a new set of photos. They don't do the car justice at all tbh...

Don't you normally hold your phone landscape when taking photos and video? Always turns out awful if you don't.

I did a set out by Howth head that looked nice (apart from the being in portrait), then another when I got home and realised that the first ones weren't looking great on DD, but they didn't turn out well at all so I went with the first lot! 😂

I think you're right though, I need to redo the lot I'd say...🙄, I'm no great photographer, that I've learned anyway...

Have you any pals who are into photography? A few years ago I sold a then 5 year old 320d and got a pal to photograph it for me and it made a huge difference. Fill the photo with the car, don't take them from a distance and from all 4 corners.

I would leave out all of that, yes. The photos are pretty good. I see no reason to change them, just include a couple more of the interior, as I suggested. It's obviously a very good car so I'm sure you will get plenty of interest. As regards money I would hold out for an offer as near the full asking price as possible. Good luck!

No one I can think of off the top of my head tbh, I hear what you're saying, the killer is DD only allow ten pics, so it really is a bit of a killer if you want to show mileage, service, etc

Try adverts.ie also but could potentially wreck your head.

Personally - I take my car to an empty car park. No distractions of scenery or other cars in the background. get shots from different angles front, side, rear - try and fill the frame with the car, nothing worse than having to double tap a pic to zoom in and the car still doesn't fill the screen

Then take internal pics, drivers position (sit in the back behind the drivers seat and take the pic holding the phone near the headrest) sat nav screen or any decent gadgets could get their own pic. If the car has a nice or interesting centre console, etc

Try and upload them in order, external, internal, specific

My last sale, similar to my donedeal ad ,but can't save those. As you've said donedeal pic limit of 10 is problematic. Again just my opinion, others have given good advice above also.

Well lads , I took all your advice so far on board, it's greatly appreciated, then I took Leo's and got up early this morning to take a few photos (didn't have a slip and fall in the process so he might be disappointed in me there)!!

Here is the updated Donedeal as with new photos:

    Here is the adverts.ie ad:

By the way, it turns out I had my camera set to 4:3 ratio, which certainly didn't help with the photos! 🙄
