I'm planning to put in a downstairs loo.
I curious to know where the sewers are around my house and where they connect to the main sewer.
I'm sure the foul water system is well documented but I cannot find maps online anywhere

You won't find the foul layout of your own private dwelling on any online maps.

You might find the location of the connection of you apply to Irish water.

Hi, email Datarequests section of Irish Water.

Give them your address. They will send you a map showing where the mains Irish Water owned pipes are. Takes about 1 week for a reply.

I had to do it a while back, won't really show the private drains on your property but it's a start.

Site won't let me post email address as I'm a new user. Ring I.W. and they will give it to you.

The maps will only show you the public system.
This will be useless to you as you cannot connect to them anyway (not without a major payment, think a couple of grand).

What you need is a good surveyor or builder to locate the foul water system within your property and connect the new toilet to this system.

    Where are you based?
