Suspicious charity/clothing appeal sticker

I received the attached sticker in my door recently. After reviewing it I was suspicious of the overall grammar of the sticker, the lack of organisational information and contact details (a generic gmail address). I've contacted the "charity" by email but havent heard anything back. I then investigated further with the charity's regulator of Ireland with the charity number provided to find it is not registered with a charity nor is the name on the email address a charity here. They claim the collection is being carried out by a company called "Hand collection service Ltd" but after checking the name over only found it was dissolved in 2012. I dont seem the be only one who found this odd as the link below advises

Obviously I have a fair idea of the ones behind but putting that aside I was under the impression it is an offense to claim to be a charity and provide false details of such, if so what arent the people handing out these being arrested? It would be hard to catch them,just place the bag and sticker outside the door and wait for them

It’s a Roma gypsy scam. You’d be inundated with stickers and bags claiming to be from charities about 10 years ago. The clothes are gathered up and sold in places like Albania,
Georgia, and Belarus.

They get sold to the less fortunate. However at least they're being recycled.

Sometimes they’ll pay the charity a certain amount to use their logo and name but that’s the extent of the “charity” side of the enterprise.

I get these all the time. They go straight into the bin… as do my unwanted cloths (cloths bin)

If they're not good enough for the charity shop,might as well let them have them.
