Upgrading alloys on a Lancer

There are some lovely factory alloys on the Lancer. You’d want to be looking at 17s rather than 16s. The brother had 18s on his (factory) and they were still comfy enough.

The likes of part finder.ie would have Lancers for parts. Original Mitsubishi wheels will usually be stronger and lighter than aftermarket ones.

Thanks Colm. I got one original alloy refurbished last year and a chip appear a few months later. I brought it back and was told a stone chip was likely to be the cause but 2 more chips have appeared since.

I've got relative new tyres on the car which are 16' so maybe I should stick with the original wheels that are on!

Maybe just get a matching wheel for the damaged one?

There's the one I got refurbished and another one that was kerbed that look poor. I could try a scrap yard for one or two matching wheels. I could also try bring the refurbed wheel back again and get a deal to get the other done.
