    Hi All.

Long time since I've posted here. Hope you're all well :)
Hoping some of you can advise me as to what's best to do next car wise.
I've a 2005 Golf. 215K Kms. NCT and tax is out end of July. It won't pass NCT. Shouldn't have even passed last year! Approx cost of repairs last year along with newer bits has me around 1500 mark. So I feel I'm at a crossroad with regard to changing.
Should I get her fixed up and put it through NCT and buy another year of motoring? Or is that p1ssing into the wind?
Or is now the time to say bye and change to something newer?

If changing my budget would be around 5-6K (Credit Union loan). I know zero about PCP deals or if my car is worth anything on a trade in? Buy private or up North etc. What's best to do?

Car wise. I only really need a little city bipper. 1.0l- 1.2l. My daily drive would be East Wall D3 to Airport to Bayside and back to East wall. Odd time drive to the city if weather is bad. I'm a music guy so only request is the car has blutooth or aux port :). I'm comfortable in my skin so I'm ok with a female marketed car if that's the best option :)
Low tax.. safe as possible..as cool as I can get haha.. And hopefully get 3yrs at least out of it.

Sorry for long post. Just wanted to give as much info as possible. Thanks in advance guys.
