Apologies if this is the incorrect area. Is there a limit on how much you can charge to an AIB debit card? they don't seem to mention it on their website.

No, there are atm withdrawal limits but no spend limits (assuming money is there to back it up)

I've run into spending limitations before (paying a house deposit to a solicitor), but can't remember if it was €2.5k or €5k in a single day.

We knew there was a transaction limit, but that turned out to be a daily limit as well.

    From the debit card T&Cs:
You can use your Card up to a certain number of times a day. We call this a Transaction limit. There is also a daily limit, meaning
your Card can be used to make payments up to a certain combined value every day.

Let me google that for you.. AIB: €7,100 ( €5,000 max per transaction) per www.moneyguideireland.com
From AIB: You can use your card for cash withdrawals from ATMs in the Republic of Ireland and worldwide (up to a daily limit of €600) where the Visa logo is displayed. Please note: at some ATMs abroad, particularly in non-European locations, the daily cash withdrawal limit may be reduced to €250 or less.
