    Hi

I noticed an insect I hadn’t seen before it had what seemed like white and black stripes on it take - it’s wings where further up the body and had an orange tinge when flying it was retrieving nectarine from flowering lavender from what seemed to tentacles.

Ty. Couldn’t post pic for some reason.

Found answer on Facebook group. It’s a carpet beetle.

    Anyone familiar with these.

Just wondering if anyone can identify this bug?

It got into our house some how and was flapping around. Might be from the storm but its unusual to see bugs like that this time of year.
