    Doesn't give much hope for anyone buying appliances they pretty much slate every brand even miele back to the wash board and soap ppl

    I think that the comments reflect the fact that the vast majority of appliances are not made to last or be easily serviced and when they do fail the consumer is expected to buy a replacement.
    It is useful to see the "family tree" of well known brands and how they often come from the same factory as some others that have a bad reputation.
