    Hello

Just wondering is there an app or anything to assist with finding the freesat satellite?

Aim it at the Sky satellite!

It's best to buy a cheap inline sat finder and have someone at the TV end watching for a signal. 28.5 degrees east and elevate the arm a few degrees above the horizontal plane.

You don't need an app, point it under the sun at 11am

Have a satellite finder picking up signal but think it's the wrong satellite as no freesat service showing (sorry at the in laws trying to get to the bottom of it)

If you have a signal is anything showing on screen - 19 E is often found by accident and is mainly german fta channels.

Have a look at this video.

We were able to realign a dish that had gone off by following the video but without the sat meter. Just used the signal meter on the sat box.

This app will give you a very good estimation of where to point the dish at your location. Then use the sat meter in post#2 to fine tune dish.
