LIDAR to 3D Model?

    Hi there,

I've been struggling to figure out how to convert lidar data in las format to a 3d model that isn't just the height maps.

My plan would be to then edit the 3d model in blender to make solid objects out of all the "points", and then 3d print a model.

There's a big LIDAR data set for Dublin, would be really cool to print a detailed interpretation of this data for parts of the city.

I've seen other people do something similar but they just use height maps, which results in buildings that look more like blobs.
