Bank's requirements for Enduring POA

My mother has finally received word from the Court's Service of the registration of the Enduring Power of Attorney from my dad to her. We now need to inform the banks and post office etc of this. Her solicitor is asking how many certified copies of the EPOA are required - anyone know if each bank will require a certified copy or if a copy of the certified copy will generally suffice? I'd like to avoid calling to each bank with the one certified copy if possible!

Between banks and other entities, I might otherwise need about 18 copies!

    Thanks
