Which to do first - understairs storage / cover over side of house

So I've a few things I wouldn't mind done to my house over the next few years - I want to get under the stairs built in with additional storage, I would also like to cover over the side of the house (like a clothesline canopy only much bigger) - looking for thoughts really on which most people would go for first
