Anyone replaced their s8 screen? Had lasted well after some bad drops but it fell last night and screen smashed.

How much roughly to replace? Any recommendations of where to get replaced, Dublin and surrounding areas.

I'm 'm not on a contract and don't fancy signing up to one.

Thanks! Wow 200? Was thinking maybe 100..

I'll hang on for another few months til I can get one in a contract. I dropped it so many times and nothing but last night was the end for it... Will go back to HTC one til then

    Best price I got was €250, it's 325 on expresstech ...... Ouch!!
Haven't done anything yet, phone is still very usable so I think I will just hang on to it for the time being and buy a new phone rather than forking out that kind of money for repair one that's already served me well for 18 months or hopefully 2 years, I think I bought it for around €425 on one of the amazons, possibly Germany I think

that's the disadvantage of amoled screens - they are much more expensive to buy a replacement screen for

the screen itself is 100 or more

an lcd screen is about 20 euros to buy

They are expensive repairs as the glass and the digitiser come as one unit. So if its a glass break only you've to replace both .
