Has anyone driven from Cherbourg port to Brittany?
If so is it an easy journey? Mostly motorway. And could you recommend a good tourist friendly stop off point?

It is a very easy journey. Mostly safely driven at or close to the 110km/h limit.
There are many aires(motorway service stations+rest areas) along the route, the one near Mount St Michelle is very good.
You don't say where in Brittany you are travelling to, its a big area!
