Hi there, not sure how much research you put into this, but I've been put off getting one of these, by a friend who works in a bike shop, citing that these are a overly complicated and dangerous contraption. Have a read of some of the 1 star reviews on amazon.

I used one with my youngest. We used to have great crack with it. Then she got too big. It needs to be bolted tight to the head tube or it will twist to one side. I was a bit wary of the head tube imploding inwards, but I needn’t have worried. The child’s bike was a cheap steel yoke and stong as hell, if not exactly light. Don’t have it anymore I’m afraid, but I would recommend them as a cheap solution to getting cycling with young kids.
