Fake news. Part of RTE agenda that Leitrim exists. When we all know it was wiped out in an immersion left running explosion in the 50s.

Does any of this sound remotely believable? Sounds like someone cut and pasted a cricket report.
Leitrim dug deep at Croke Park to record a magnificent extra-time success at the expense of Lancashire in the Lory Meagher Cup decider.

They are now among the great Meagher Cup winning teams such as Fermanagh and Warwickshire.

There wont be a cow milked or a cousin chased in Leitrim for a week.

2 things I learned from googling after this thread
    - Lancashire are in the Lory Meagher Cup: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lory_Meagher_Cup
    - Lancashire GAA has a Nickname "Lancs": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancashire_GAA

I can just hear it now.. "Oh here come the Lancs just sauntering over thinking they can own the place"

I wonder have their disappointed supporters ever described them as a shower of Lankers!

Leitrim Captain: "I throw the bag in the same place and by some miracle all the gear is washed, cleaned, ironed and ready to go again...I don't know how it happens " :D

Good to see his speech has the hat-tip to the background team...
