VW passat

    My wife has a 191 VW passat. On board sat nav, but sayes navigation database not available.

    Is it an easy up grade I can do or is it more money for the dealer.

    No, Only spotted this today. Do i down load map and just insert?

    Just looked, there is two sd porta in the glove box. Nothing in them.
    Might give the dealer a ring tomorrow

    It should have a DVD style box in with the service book with the SD card in it, if they've forgotten to insert it.

    What can happen in dealers is, if one car is missing the SD and it's only copped at short notice, its stolen from another car, which sets off a viscous circle of stealing it from other cars to replace previously stolen SD cards and eventually it gets forgotten and someone accidentally gets a car without an SD.

    Afaik, it only works in SD slot 2 for some reason.
