The volume on my calls have dropped to the point I can barely hear the other party. Any one have similar issues? Is there a setting I can tweak?

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Would be first step. That will reset carrier settings and also any Bluetooth and WiFi connections.

So you would need to rejoin/pair them again. It will restart your phone and hopefully fix the issue.
