    Hi

I'm selling some items and got some offers, buyer wants to collect at my house.
Is this the norm or do you usually meet at public place?

Its entirely up to you what you do

If its something like a tv its understandable the buyer might want to see it working

As a new user it might help you seem more like a legit seller, it can be harder as a new user without feedback

Hello does anyone know is there a number to call adverts? I was interested in this item last week and I didn't know did I have enough cash in my back account to pay so I thanked the seller for his time and explained my story. Next thing my private inbox and my feedback exploded with texts from this man calling my every name under the sun and he treated to Pull My Head Off! I went to report this and adverts said do not reply back to him until they look into it. So now four days have gone by and I've no reply from adverts. I'm still left with negative feedback from the seller while he is a loud to trade after some of the horrible things he said. I've been on Adverts for years and never a problem while this man is only trading in the last two months. My kids use my profile from time to time and I don't want them seen this on my page. I got annoyed with people in the past on Adverts but I'd never give them any negative feedback let alone by just asking questions. Why is adverts doing nothing about this???

I'd find that negative feedback a bit harsh, some people have had bad dealings with timewasters down the years and just have no tolerance for it whatsoever no matter the excuse, I've been put off buying from users at times for situations like yours where I see the bad feedback left 2 hours after an offer made, or if they specifically say in the ad about bad feedback if you dont follow through on offer, I'd be wary of making an offer on an ad like that if i was to have any questions in pm that i then didn't like the answer to leading to negative feedback

The adverts system is still so much better than blind DoneDeal

It would be especially poor form if you're someone with a good track record before but that's some people for you
