Attic Floor for storage (Odd roof frame)

I've posted this in the Construction & Planning forum so mods, feel free to delete either thread if I've posted in the wrong section. Any help would be great.

I'm looking to put down some 18mm OSB in the attic for storage only and would like to do it right. Here is a link I found online to the type of roofing frame I have.

The ceiling joists are about 115mm not 4" or 5", same with the rafters. There is currently 200mm Isover insulation between the joists. I was hoping to add 5" joists across the ceiling joists at 16" intervals and tie into the 2 gable walls (terraced house) with joist hangers. I'd add 100mm insulation between and leave a gap for ventilation and lay the OSB.

Anyone have any insights into this method with that type of roof? I hope to get some more pictures of the actual attic over the next few days.
