Radiator Bleed Valve Stuck

I have a lot of radiators and out of all of them could only successfully turn and bleed one of them(just moved in). Had a plumber in, doing other jobs, and his only suggestion was to drill a self tapping screw into it to do it but didn't want to do it himself.

They're an older type if you like and I just simply cannot turn the key. Like below

Some radiators are single so have one bleed valve and some others have two sections so have two, none of them move at all in either direction.

Any ideas before I have to start drilling a hole to bleed them properly?
    Thanks

First suggestion, don't drill the radiators and stick a screw in it.
Vent screws turns anti-clockwise to open / remove.
Get a small socket set an try tap one of the smaller sockets tightly onto the screw and see will that get it to budge.

Bit of WD40 maybe. I sheared off one of those bleed valves before. bit of a bummer

First attempt was with WD40 on it, didn't help. Got excited last night as I managed to bleed 3 radiators in a row which was 5 bleed nipples. Alas the others put up a fight so short of wearing them down I've stopped. The ones that I could bleed didn't actually need bleeding so likely the ones that need bleeding cannot be opened by me.

When I get in a more competent plumber(last guy was pretty useless and messy) then I'll get him to try again. Eventually I'll upgrade them to efficient radiators but I've just moved in, can't afford these things now.

K.flyer none of my sockets actually fit. I've a whole kit of them but smallest one was marginally too big to fit in.
