Questions about the Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work Studies

I know that there are a few posts about the Social Work courses in UCC, however they are years old and I understand how courses are adapted throughout the years.

I wondering if students/past students of this course could answer a few questions. I am studying a Level 8 in Early Childhood Care and Education (CIT) and hope to study this after completion.

First of all, how do you find the course in general?

Are the work placements paid? One of my main concerns is if I can find time to study and still fit in a part time job at the weekends. Any of you that are working part time with this course, how are you finding the work load?

How many hours of lectures/tutorials etc do you have a week?

Lastly, can anyone tell me of any benefits/restrictions or even differences there are between the Postgrad Diploma in Social Work and the Masters in Social Work, both held in UCC.

    Thanking you all in advance!
