Learner Licence Question

Howdy - I'm pretty confused and was hoping for some help on 2 things.

I have a full car licence and want to get a bike. Did motorcycle theory test today so have that. When applying for a learner licence, should I go for the A2 or A? Planning to get a Bandit 650. Any point in getting A2? Over 24 BTW.

Second - as I am adding A (or A2) learner category to my licence, do I need an eyetest?

    Cheers

    Get the A category.

I didn't need to do an eye test when applying for the learner on the bike but I did only get my car license for the first time around 3 years prior.
