Don't want to clutter up the Ascot thread so created this for other bets.

Today looks a really great days betting.

I have about 6 or 7 lined up.

2.10 Thirsk, I don't like the fav or the second here. A little on the big side at 4.5 Luzum but I'm going to lay regardless. Can't see it winning under any circumstances.

I'm also going to lay Luzum for the place @ around 1.84

Not a great day so far but my banker of the day runs in the 3.55 Thirsk, Alkaraama. Around 2.06 on the exchange. In my opinion the horse should be 1/3. In my eyes it's a certainty. Backed it to win

What strikes me about your fancies is the apparent confidence behind them: such belief in a selection suggests it would be a very expensive day. I'm sure you'll agree that racing is the long game but backing and laying very short odds seems destined to fail in jig time.
As a keen follower of tipping services - they "work" but only at advised odds which means they almost inevitably don't "work" - they rarely select shorties and for good reason.

Absolute bonkers post, you don't give any reasoning for why it shouldve been a 1/3 shot. Fair enough having a fancy but back it up if your claiming the true price is 1/3. Other than that keep up the splendid job goat.

pretty bad day in contrast. Last bet of the day for me, 7.40 Sligo, Third World, around 1/2, very short. It's a lay bet for me today. A little bit of info I got, hopefully it's bang on. On a recovery mission for today.
