Planning Permission

Hi, quick question so there’s a site for sale with full planning permission for 2 two-storey houses on .7acres in my local town. It’s an ideal location for a house but I’d much rather build one house on the site and completely design it myself. So what I’m trying to say is, is it possible to change the planning completely, or get new planning for the site or would I have to build the houses that are planned? Thanks for any info.

Yes you can apply to change the planning, happens regularly after a site is sold, or more correctly, sold subject to obtaining said planning permission

Yes, you’d have to buy the 2 sites obviously, and then go through the full planning process.
