Any thoughts on the Nissan below? Anything to check on these cars of this age?

    https://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/nissan/qashqai/used-2007-nissan-qashqai-1-6-se-1-dublin-fpa-201905157981596

Clutch changed last year, plugs replaced last month and throttle was cleaned at the same time. (was some mild carbon build-up apparently)

Also - anyone dealt with Airways Motors before? Any feedback on them?

6 month warranty (even if it's just engine and gearbox) is longer than most. That engine is a little rough and thirsty but it will do what you're looking for perfectly. 1.6 engine might be dearer to insure.

I'd probably go for the Golf over it for the extra power if you're ever going to be driving it.

    NCAP for 2007 Qashqai https://www.euroncap.com/en/results/nissan/qashqai/15733

NCAP for Golf (older design than Nissan)

Thanks for the reply Mark. Golf would have been my choice but the qashqai suits the needs better. Insurance was actually cheaper than the golf oddly also. Test drove it - seemed fine and should be perfect now with the plugs changed.

NCT is also guaranteed for this year which is excellent.

Deposit paid, collecting this weekend :)
