Can someone give the definitive easy answer to the definition of buying a vat qualifying car in UK
    ..
Buying a car this week in UK

I was told my car will be 20%less than advertised price
That's what the paid invoice will state.
And I won't have to pay the VAT
only the VRT when I register her here

You’d have to pay VAT here though apparently.

VAT qualifying and s New Means of Transport or simply VAT qualifying and an older car? If the latter, VAT zero rating is only for export outside the UZk. If the former, see Colm’s post!

    Car was 20% less.
    Paid my VRT.
DID €9000 better than buying it here...same year, spec etc.
