Advice for 30 y/o hoping to learn about change of career to Architecture

Hi Everyone,

I'm a 30 y/o mechanical engineer, with a 10 year long dream of becoming an architect/interior architect/designer. I am considering embarking on a career change at this stage in my life. Are there any job platforms for internships or for work experience other than jobs.ie and seek etc. that you could recommend for this or any other means to get some experience or enter the industry at entry level? Is anyone aware of an alternative route to studying architecture other than direct full time undergraduate?

I go to a lot of ULI meetings, and they're full of senior architects and decision makers.

You should touch base with the Irish office (https://europe.uli.org/councils/national-councils/uli-ireland/) and see if they can point you in the right direction.
