oversized within Ireland

    box 3 feet, X 2 feet X 2 feet
    weight is 28 ish kgs
    too big for any couriers that I know.
    best method / courier - would it be a pallet operator?
    cannot split into smaller.

    I've delivered and picked up bigger boxes than that. Try UPS.

    Where is it to be delivered?

    Within Ireland and you shouldn't have too much problem as limit is 30kg for most and no one side over 90cm

    If for uk or Europe you might get dpd to take it.

    BTW, did you ask ups for road service? Huge difference between "courier/express" service and parcel delivery service.
