Looking to buy either a V40 or S60. Budget 11-13k. I drove a V40 and it seemed like a decent car.
Generally, What issues should I be looking out for specific to these models? Maintenance? Timing belts? Any other matters?
Specifically, There’s a 141 on donedeal that has 160km on the clock but hasn’t been serviced for 23k km. Asking price just short of 12K. Does that sound reasonable/dodgy?
    Thanks a lot

The V40 is quite small. Make sure it’s big enough for you.
    Also consider a V60.

I’ve been looking at S60s for a while now and originally wanted 5 Cylinder model bit warming to the newer 4 cylinder now as they’re very economical and quite fast for a 2.0.

They’re supposed to be very well built and reliable.

As an aside I love the new model, seems to be just coming out.
