Using Sky Box Without Broadband Connection

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question so apologies if it isn't.

I currently have a contract with Sky for TV, Phone & Broadband. I don't really use the phone & broadband as I have unlimited data on my mobile contract. I spoke to a rep at Sky who said I can enter into a contract for TV only. I'm wondering does anyone know is it possible to use Catch Up TV, Netflix and other internet based offerings on Sky TV through a hotspot, or is a broadband connection mandatory to avail of these functions?

Your best bet is to just try it, its called tethering and some providers dont allow it.

Do yourself a favour and keep the broadband, mobile broadband is rubbish in comparison to wired. We would pay what ever it took to get wired BB but can’t and are stuck with crap mobile.
