Beneficiaries to an estate are to be paid rental income until the tenant moves out, and property can be sold. RTB involved now for overholding, but could take some time. Rent is being paid in the meantime. That's something I suppose!

As I understand it as long as the taxable rental income for each of them (Gross rent - allowable expenses) equally divided amongst them is less than 5k per tax year each, they can return this income on Form 12 via My Account.

The question I have is..... WHEN is the return due? If the rental income arises in 2019, do they have until 31 October 2020 to return it, same as Self assessed taxpayers?

It is not clear from the Revenue website. I did phone them but was waiting far too long for the phone to answer. I hope no one minds me picking some of your brains!

    Thanks.

    Yes.

2019 tax return due by end Oct 2020.
